This bivalve comes from The Great Orm* from when I went there with Anne and Jack. It was collected on ???th June. On the bottom half it has markings that look like a tortoise's shell. This is the coral that is in Frosterly Marble. You have to wet it to see them properly. The man at the fossil shop* told us were to find them. We found them under a bridge in a place called Weardale on the ???th . We had to climb through the forest as there was no path to get down to the river.

*See Llandudno.

*See Durham 2.

This is a large bivalve that we found at Robin Hoods Bay. You can see the iron in it down at the bottom. It's about five centimetres wide and five centimetres tall. We found it on ???th June in the shale cliffs around a beach.
We think this is a Trilobite. We found it at Gop Hill with Jack. It's about 2.5 long and. It was found on the ???th September in some limestone. On the top left hand corner of the trilobite it still has a little bit of it's exoskeleton.
This is may be the best fossil that I have ever found. It's a trilobite that measures only about 1.5 cm long. The lines are very distinct and there are places were it has a smooth, white coating. I found this while looking through the small rocks on Gop Hill when went there with Jack on the ???th of September. Unfortunately you can only see the middle of the body and not the end or the head.
This is also a very fine specimen. It was also found at Gop Hill on the same day. This one measures about 1.8cm. I like because I think it is whole and the lines on it are very distinct, as you can see in the picture. It has got a little bit sticking out on the right had sideof it, I don't know what it is becaus eit lokks like the edge of the shell has already finished.
Thsi is also an interesting fossil. A bivalve that has a broken shell. the lines are very clear on this one and it is reasonably whole. I also found this one at Gop Hill. It is about 5cm long. This is could be the best fossil I have ever found. Even though this Echinoid has an arm missing. I found it at Robin Hoods Bay in the shale cliffs at the beach. It is very detailed. The fossil itself is less than a centimetre across. When I first found it i thought it was a starfish but it wasn't even an animal.
